Pumpkin Dance A Thon

posted Oct 15, 2019, 11:07 AM by Kimberly MacDonald

We are pleased to announce our second annual  St. Bernard student fundraiser
Dance-A-Thon.  This special event will be held in our school gym on Thursday, October 31st, 2019.  This student Dance-A-Thon will be our school fundraiser for the year.  Through this Dance-A-Thon, we aim to continue to instill the values of respect, belonging, responsibility and community school engagement in our JK to Grade 6 students.   Students are allowed to wear costumes to school however, no masks, no replicas of weapons - swords, shields, etc and no face paint resembling blood or gore.  Costumes shouldn’t be scary or intimidating for our younger students.

Our Dance-A-thon promises to be a very exciting event!

  • Students are asked to raise a minimum of $5.00 in pledges ($10.00 per family of 3 or more children).

  • Students can also purchase Cake Raffle tickets -  $2.00 for 10 tickets.  Students will give money for tickets to their homeroom teacher prior to October 31, and their teacher will give tickets to students. All prizes from the cake raffle will be sent home for families to enjoy.

  • A photo booth will be set up on the day of the Dance a thon.  Students can take a picture for $1.00. Pictures will be distributed to students within  a week.

The class raising the most money will get a free Pizza Lunch!
